Beatrice Agyeman Abbey is the Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Media General, a prominent Ghanaian media business that owns and operates, among other things, TV3, Onua FM, 3FM, Connect FM, Akoma FM, and MG Digital.
She was named Outstanding Broadcast Media CEO of the Year in the Ghana Entrepreneur and Corporate Executive Awards in 2021.

Early Life and Career
Beatrice began her career as a reporter in 2000, then as a Broadcast Journalist and News Anchor.
She was appointed General Manager of the Media General in 2017. For nearly a year, she was the Head of Media General Digital, and for a period, she was the General Manager of Media General Radio.
She has conducted interviews with important individuals including John Agyekum Kufuor, John Mahama, and Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. In Kenya, she has worked with major news organizations such as the BBC, Sky TV, Citizen TV, CNN, VOA, and Kiss TV.

- She received the Ghana Women of the Year Award for Excellence in Media in September 2020 organized by Glitz Africa.
- She received the Ghana Entrepreneur and Corporate Executive Awards’ Outstanding Broadcast Media CEO of the Year honor in May 2021. The Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana (EFG) organized it.
Ms. Beatrice Agyemang was appointed to lead the Media General Group as CEO in September 2018. In addition to two TV stations (TV3 and Onua TV), four radio stations (Connect FM in Takoradi, Akoma FM in Kumasi), a digital company (MG Digital Limited), a production house (Adesa Production Ltd.), and the 3Foundation, which manages the Group’s CSR initiatives, Media General Ghana Limited was founded in 2011.
