Chloe Kelly’s professional career began on July 23 2015, at 17, when she played her first game for Arsenal’s first team in the Continental Cup encounter against Watford and scored her first goal just 22 minutes into the game.

She came on as Rachel Yankey’s replacement in the 54th minute of the team’s 2-1 victory over Notts County, marking her second appearance for the group.

Moreover, Kelly signed her first senior contract in February 2016 and appeared in one game in the team’s 5-1 victory over Sunderland on June 25, before being loaned to FA WSL 2 team Everton.

Further, in June 2016, Kelly agreed to a three-month loan with FA WSL 2 team Everton to gain more first-team experience. She made nine starts for the Toffees, scoring twice.

In addition, she joined Arsenal again in October of the same year & played three more times for them in the 2016 FA WSL.

Along with Taylor Hinds, an Arsenal teammate, Kelly completed a permanent move to Everton in January 2018 under a contract that runs through the summer of 2020.

Following ankle surgery, 2019 marked a turning point in Kelly’s career. She contributed nine goals in 12 games for Everton during the 2019–20 FA WSL season, which helped the team climb the standings to sixth place.
