Dylan McDermott is an American actor. He is known as the lawyer and head of the law firm Bobby Donnell in the legal drama The Practice, which earned him the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a TV-Drama. picture and nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Best Actor in a TV Series. Since April 1, 2021, he starred in the TV series about Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Law & Order: Organized Crime alongside former SVU star Christopher Meloni in the role of drug crime boss Richard Wheatley.
